but post-party sketching never goes well

Pen and Markers

Based on the knit wear of Mafuyu and Y. Yamagata.

I am so drawn to the idea of building tiny homes 

made out of paper, markers and glue.

I made this for the loveliest couple.

Paper bag nest, quilting square bird and yarn and pistachio eggs

Curious cub and a swooping seagull

I drew this in exchange for some music.

If you look closely, it looks like the first seagull has eyeliner!

Reclining Nude

The most timid model sat for my art class today.

I felt bad drawing her, she seemed so scared,

I can't say that I wouldn't feel the same way

 if I was in her place ,though.

Inspiration

I love this lithograph by Kiki Smith, if there was one image that I wish that I could always keep on me, it would be this one.

A lot is changing right now.

As usual it is hard, but it feels good; new, newer.
